![]() ![]() If you don’t know where your XAMPP was installed to or which folder you should map the FTP to, go back to the main interface of XAMPP Control Panel, click the Explorer button at the right hand side to open the root folder of the XMAPP on your computer and browse to the sub-directory where your website stuff is saved. Switch to the ‘ Shared folders‘ tab, click Add button to browse to the directory of XAMPP installation on your computer and add it as the shared folder which you can access using the FTP account. Click to check and enable ‘ Enable account‘ below the ‘Account settings’ section. From its General tab, click Add to enter the FTP account name.
